Tour Directors / Motorcoach Drivers:

Every tour and Day Trip is guided from start to finish.  DIRECTIONS Saint Louis, LLC provides professional, full-time, educated and knowledgeable guides on all of our tours.  Our guides have trained under our stringent policies and procedures.  Your guide will outline each day’s activity, including the history, geography and facts about each area we visit.  Your guide is also there to make sure that your tour experience is entertaining and comfortable.   Your motorcoach driver is a DIRECTIONS Saint Louis Driver.  Our drivers are professional, safe and courteous.

Relaxed Schedules:

DIRECTIONS Saint Louis ensures a relaxing and stress-free experience on every tour.  Our tour schedules are not tiring and are not overbooked.  Lunch stops are always between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm / Dinner is always between 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Evenings are at a relaxed pace after a day of travel or touring.  Our hotel arrival time is approximately 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily.  Some evenings we will have activities (i/e shows) that will take us back out after our hotel arrival.  No late hour traveling on the motorcoach is scheduled on any tour.  Remember, our tours are “stress-free”!

Excellent Transportation:

DIRECTIONS Saint Louis only uses state-of-the-art motorcoaches.  All of our motorcoaches are 5 years in age or less.  Your onboard experience is comfortable and safe.  We use American made MCI Renaissance Motorcoaches that “kneel” down to embark/debark with ease.  All of our coaches offer easy contour staircases with hand railings  on both sides for your boarding ease.  Our seats are plush cushioned and have movable armrests and footrests.  Every coach also features a lavatory and onboard audio/visual.  Snack and Beverage service is done throughout your longer travel days.  Safety and comfort onboard is your Drivers and Tour Directors utmost concern throughout your tour. Sit back and relax!

Tour Meals:

Breakfast is always served on every overnight tour.  We will have a continental or full breakfast for you each morning on tour.  Lunches are usually on your own, however, some of our tour itineraries do include some lunches (see itinerary inclusions).  Lunch stops are always done each day and your guide will always find more than one choice, in most cases, for the day.  Dinners are usually “out on the town” featuring a taste of the area you are visiting.  Dinners are either ala carte, limited menu or set choice for our group.  All meals are casual wear (unless noted).  If you have a special diet (diabetic/allergies etc.), please let us know – we will try to accommodate your needs the best we can.

Tour Lodging:

We carefully select each lodging location.  Our selections are pre-scouted before your tour and are clean, safe and comfortable.  Most hotels include pools, interior entrances and in safe locations.  In some cases (i.e. in Florida and/or Southern States) your hotel may have exterior entrances – but are located in secure and safe areas.

What’s Included?

Almost everything!  All of our tours INCLUDE all taxes and gratuities!  Your Tour Director and Motorcoach Driver gratuities ARE INCLUDED. They are working for you and not your “tip”!  No worries on opening your wallet at the end of the tour or how much you need to tip.  All attractions, step-on guide gratuities, accommodations, meals (see itinerary), transportation, and luggage handling (one large bag per person) are INCLUDED.  Just another DIRECTIONS Difference!

Cancellations/Insurance:

Our FAIR REFUND POLICY secures you and your money! A refund will be given for cancellations up to 48 hours prior to date of departure on motorcoach tours with a doctor’s statement (except for pre-paid tickets & events – these will be noted prior to final payment if applicable). Trip protection insurance information available upon request. Day trip refund policy: Cancellations must be received two weeks prior to the day trip with a doctor’s statement.

Pick-up Locations/Home Shuttle Service:

We offer pick-ups throughout St. Louis City, North, West & South County, and St. Charles. DIRECTIONS Saint Louis is also pleased to offer our travelers HOME Pick-up and Drop-off service before and after the tour. Our pick-up service is available in St. Louis, St. Charles and portions of Jefferson Counties as well as the Metro East, Illinois. This convenient service is available on all our overnight tours for just $25.00 per person! Let us know if you want to utilize this optional service.

Single Travelers:

Single Travelers are always welcome on any of our tours! Each tour has an additional,affordable single supplement rate (please call us). Need a roommate? If there is another person looking for a roommate on the same tour – we will be happy to get you in touch with them. Just call our offices for more details on this service.

Deposits/Payments:

Just a $75.00 deposit covers your initial reservation on an overnight tour.  Day Trips require a full payment at time of reservation.  Tour final payments are not due until 45 days prior to your tour.  You will receive an invoice reflecting your deposit paid and final payment due date.  Deposits and Day Trip Payments may be made by cash, money order or check.  Final Payments may be made by cash, money order or check.  We do accept major credit cards on final payments, however, a 3% transaction fee is added for this service.  This charge is by our credit card authorization service and is not implemented by us.
